Published: 2020 The sequel to Dear Martin is finally here, and it absolutely did not disappoint! Dear Justyce focuses on Quan, Manny's cousin in Dear Martin who is arrested for murdering a cop. Dear Justyce is told through flashbacks, letters Quan is writing to Justyce, and the present day where Quan has been arrested. Quan remembers the night his father was arrested and put into police custody. That was the night that everything changed. He has to live with his mom full-time, which wouldn't be a problem except her boyfriend Dwight is abusive and doesn't like Quan. Quan finds himself hanging around with a group of guys who are like his brothers and would do anything for him, and in return he'd do anything for them. But being in with this group means that he has to live his life a certain way, and it eventually leads to the incident that left him being arrested and put in jail. In his letters to Justyce, he questions how he could have possibly turned his life around when so many things were against him. Does he have a future? Dear Justyce is an absolutely amazing book that I couldn't put down. Must-read for Dear Martin fans.
