She's the kind of person who can read people and can manipulate them to get what she wants. But she is having a hard time reading Cherish right now. When Farrah starts getting sick and suffering from strange injuries, she is worried that something isn't right. Cherish Farrah is a twisted story about friendship and family and race. While there, Zuretta learns that this hotel has had a bad reputation for disappearing girls. She is flabbergasted at the very strange way that the building is created. There are random doors that open up to brick walls and weird twists and turns. Soon she finds that she is in more danger than she realizes. Magnolia must make a choice about her life--continue living as white or live with Charlie. Meanwhile the curse threatens her life and family secrets are revealed. In order to improve their reputation for the racism at their school, they decide that they are going to join their proms this year. In the past, there have been two proms--one for the rich, white kids and one for everyone else. Maddy is supposed to be the guest of honor, attending with the Black quarterback. But not everyone is happy that this is happening, and many will live (and die) to regret this night because Maddy has a secret and it is deadly. Author: Mariko Tamaki
